Remember when the college football season was just getting started?

Hollywood darling Matt Barkley was the apple of the eye for the majority of Heisman voters — the same group of people had most likely never even heard of Johnny Manziel at that point.

In the early course of the season, Barkley, Geno Smith and others burst onto the scene and flamed out nearly as quickly.

According to the voting chart, the Aggies’ Johnny Football wasn’t even a blip on the Trophy radar until Week 7, and he was not considered to be anywhere near the podium until A&M’s Week 11 upset of then-No. 1 Alabama.

The final vote to see who wins the Trophy now comes down to the three guys who maintained an extraordinary level of excellence all season long: Collin Klein, Johnny Manziel and Manti Te’o.

If this chart holds true to form, Manziel will become the first freshman to ever win the nation’s most coveted award.

After seeing this chart, should Manziel win the Trophy? Let us know below!
