For the very first time in team history, the Miami Hurricanes enter the fray that is March Madness as the top-ranked squad in the ACC. Just because guard Shane Larkin and Co. were able to navigate their way through the regular season conference schedule, however, does not mean the Canes will enjoy the same success in the one-and-done format.
Of course, no matter what happens, they are a lock for the NCAAs, but several conference teams currently find themselves on the bubble and in desperate need of a win or two.
Virginia takes on the winner of NC State and Virginia Tech. Should State win both games, they will most likely be in. However, a win over the Cavaliers could knock Virginia out of the Dance and into the NITs — or not.
Bracketology is a very delicate science. The best thing to do is just win, and don’t stop until there are literally no more games left to play.
