Some folks out there might say that the 2013 college basketball season lacked the type of true dominant force the game expects. There was no Anthony Davis at Kentucky like last year. North Carolina was down and out for most of their 2013 campaign, and fellow ACC powerhouse Duke continually lost just when the nation thought it was going to make a run.

All of the All-Americans in the Big Ten played extremely well, but with such a stacked conference, each team just got plain old beat up by everyone else. Way out West, UCLA was supposed to rise back to the championship caliber of play enjoyed under the legendary John Wooden and then again with guys like Russell Westbrook and Kevin Love on campus more recently. However, freshman growing pains and injuries kept such fantastic regular season play from becoming a reality.

Well, the folks who say any or all of that nonsense are just party poopers in our books.

The parity gave us as fans great basketball games night-in and night-out. No one wants to crack open a beer after work and tune into a random Tuesday night game between two teams he or she doesn’t care about only to see a massive blowout.

Heck no. We want close games. We want edge-of-our-seat thrillers. We want the Madness to bleed out of March and all the way back into freakin’ October.

Why? Because we’re sports fans, that’s why.

And that is why you are going to love this video, put together by Buzzfeed.
