2013 four-star DT recruit Caleb Brantley recommits to the Florida Gators
Just a couple days removed from de-commiting from the Florida Gators, four-star defensive tackle recruit Caleb Brantley has recommitted to the Orange ‘n Blue.
He announced his decision via Twitter:
With the departures of junior Sharrif Floyd and fifth-year senior Omar Hunter along the defensive line, the 6-foot-3, 305 pound high school star will be able to compete for immediate playing time.
He is the second defensive line commit for the 2013 recruiting class, joining four-star JUCO prospect Darious Cummings. Brantley is ranked as the No. 103-overall recruit and No. 7 defensive tackle prospect, according to Rivals.com.
Brantley spoke with ESPN on why he chose to recommit:
“I sat and talked to all the coaches except for coach [Will] Muschamp and coach [Dan] Quinn and I realized this is where I want to be,” Brantley said. I went with my heart.”
Welcome back to the Gator Nation!
