Standout Sooners wideout Kenny Stills has decided to forgo his senior year at Oklahoma, preferring instead to make the leap to the professional level.
Stills had a big junior year, setting career highs in every major statistical category as senior quarterback Landry Jones’ favorite target.
The 6-foot, 190-pounder with good hands and speed to burn hauled in 82 passes for 964 yards and a whopping 11 touchdowns.
Stills enjoyed a career evening against West Virginia on Nov. 17. In the Sooners’ thrilling, 50-49 victory on the road, Stills caught a career-high four touchdown passes on nine receptions for 91 yards.
He is not expected to be a first-round type of athlete, but he should prove to be a solid middle-round pick for a team looking for some help on the offensive side of the football.
The draft begins on April 25 and runs through the 27th.
