Oklahoma has been led by coach Bob Stoops since 1999. In that time, the Sooners have won a whopping 149 games. However, and despite winning or tying for eight Big 12 championships, his long national title came all the way back in 2000, just his second year in Norman.
The Sooners’ 2012 campaign was a lot of what fans have grown used to, unfortunately: An ultra-talented team playing just well enough to win 10 games, but failing yet again to get back over that hump and return to prominence amongst the nation’s elite. Stoops and his staff are hoping the program’s latest crop of superstar high school players fill a few holes and help to support the team’s upperclassmen as Oklahoma works towards a return to a BCS bowl game.
[Settle It: Who is going to win the Big 12 Championship in 2013?]
With the arrival of 2013 National Signing Day, OU is looking solid once again. ESPN has rated the Sooners at No. 20-overall, while Rivals has a bit more faith in the incoming guys, slotting this group at No. 14.
We are spending all day on Wednesday, Feb. 6 tracking each and every one of the Sooners’ recruits. We will provide regular updates throughout the day as to who has signed, who is going to sign, and who is unfortunately going to sign somewhere else.
Note: The list will be updated at the top of every hour.
