2013 recruit Dee Liner de-commits from Auburn, where’s he headed now?
Auburn’s 2013 recruiting class has seen more deflections than Lance Armstrong’s PR agency.
Monday night it was confirmed by AuburnSports.com that five-star defensive tackle recruit Dee Liner had de-committed from the Auburn Tigers.
The Tigers, who looked to be putting together one of the top classes in the nation, are now just trying to hold onto the remaining pieces.
Liner has long been expected to jump ship, and following the Under Armour All-American game it was all but guaranteed.
The 6-foot-2, 275 pound Alabama native is now rumored to be leaning towards instate rival and national champion Alabama.
“It’s no disrespect to Auburn, it really isn’t,” Liner said. “I have nothing against Auburn, there just isn’t enough time to get to know the new staff. I’ve known Chizik and them for two straight years.
Stay tuned Bama Nation, we will keep you updated as national signing day approaches.
