Many of the nation’s top programs awaited the announcement from 2013 five-star recruit Derrick Green on Saturday, and in the end he chose to go with the Michigan Wolverines.
The news is big for head coach Brady Hoke, as Green is the No. 4-ranked running back and No. 27-overall prospect in the class of 2013, according to 247Sports.
Green had narrowed his list down to Auburn, Michigan, and Tennessee, before choosing the Maize and Blue.
The 6-foot, 220-pound Richmond, VA native is the 27th commitment for the Wolverines and is the 13th Top247 recruit for Michigan.
