The Texas Longhorns’ brand of football has taken a hit in recent years. Several in-state teams such as Baylor, Houston and of course Texas A&M have tried to impede upon the crown jewel of the state system.

However, coach Mack Brown’s Horns have shown steady improvement over the last three years, and should crack the double-digit win total in 2013. The team returns 19 starters from a year ago, tied for the most in the entire nation. If this year’s recruiting class can plug the very few holes on this team and provide some solid depth across the board, it will be considered a very successful year.
