2014 five-star DB Edward Paris, Jr. commits to LSU Tigers
According to Sonny Ship of Geaux247.com, the LSU Tigers and head coach Les Miles have landed a big-time commitment from 2014 defensive back recruit Ed Paris.
Paris is rated as the No. 1-overall player in the state of Texas, No. 2-ranked safety and No. 9-overall prospect for the class of 2014, according to 247Sports.

According to the star recruit, Miles’ track record of turning defensive backs into elite NFL prospects was a major draw to the program:
“I feel like I would fit in great,” he said. “They recruit players like me with my length and it means a lot to me that they have always said corner. They recruit guys like Morris Claiborne and Patrick Peterson, who have my height, and they turned them into great players. I think they can help me get to the same level that those guys are at now.”
Paris and his family called New Orleans, LA home prior to Hurricane Katrina, but were displaced to Arlington, TX following the catastrophe.
