Four star QB recruit Will Grier commits to the Florida Gators

| December 19, 2012 at 2:17 pm | 5 Comments

Head coach Will Muschamp and offensive coordinator Brent Pease received good news on Wednesday when Will Grier (Davidson, NC), a four-star QB prospect for the 2014 class, pledged his commitment to the Gators.

Grier was the staff’s top quarterback target for 2014, putting an early end to the recruiting process.

The North Carolina gunslinger chose Florida over Tennessee, North Carolina, and N.C. State.

Rivals.com recruiting analyst Mark Farrell had the following to say on the prospect:

“He’s a dual-threat and can move, but I think he’s excellent in the pocket and will only need to run when rushed in college. He’s comfortable setting up and throwing unlike some other quarterbacks who put up impressive rushing stats in high school.”

Welcome to the Gator Nation, Will!
