Georgia Bulldogs QB Aaron Murray weighing entering 2013 NFL Draft

Aaron Murray and No. 7 Georgia are currently preparing for their showdown against No. 16 Nebraska in the 2013 Capital One Bowl, but that hasn’t stopped the record-setting quarterback from thinking about the future.

With the holiday season and close proximity of Orlando to Murray’s hometown of Tampa, he got a chance to visit his family and briefly discuss his future (via dogbytesonline.com):

“We sat down a little bit and talked about it,” Murray said of about a 10-minute discussion. “It was mostly my parents doing the pros and cons. I’m just sitting there watching TV as they talked about it. We talked about it a little bit, but I told them I mostly want to focus on this game and talk about it more when I get home after the game.”

While Murray is more than capable of making the jump to the big leagues right now, there is still one thing left he has yet to accomplish, win an SEC Championship.

“When we talk about pros and cons of coming back or leaving, I think that’s definitely a huge pro of coming back,” Murray said. “I’ve always wanted to base my game off championships.”

One things for certain, should Murray return, the Dawgs will likely be in the driver seat for both an SEC and BCS Championship appearance.

For now, it’s take care of business against Nebraska, but then comes the decision of a lifetime. No matter what Murray decides, he will have the backing of both the Bulldog Nation.
