Vince Carter, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James have all had to deal with comparisons to the legendary Michael Jordan over the course of their careers. They are not alone, of course, as athletes of all shapes, sizes and sports have had to deal with comparisons to the generation before them.

That is where Adam Eaton comes in

Eaton, currently 24 years old, broke into the Major Leagues a season ago. He is expected to be not only Arizona’s star leadoff man for the next 10 years, but the franchise is already propping him up against the greatest leadoff hitter to ever play the game.

The guy’s got a ways to go before stealing as many bases as Ricky Henderson stole, but that obviously hasn’t stopped the Diamondbacks from making the comparisons.

Honestly, did you think LeBron had unfair expectations to live up to?
