Every shoe company in the world missed out on being on the feet of one of — if not the — greatest players in the NFL in 2013. Minnesota Vikings superstar Adrian Peterson rushed for more than 2,000 yards last year, but no company’s logo were on his feet.
Talk about a mistake. Luckily for Nike, the company was able to rectify that before Peterson went off again in 2013.

However, perhaps Peterson should have thought twice about what shoes he was going to be sporting.
Or, at the very least, adidas should have had a far easier time getting A-Pete to wear their shoes instead.
The last time Adrian Peterson sported the Nike logo on his shoes was Dec. 24, 2011, when he tore his ACL and MCL in his left knee.

This should be a fun little story to follow come fall.
