The Alabama Crimson Tide has won three of the nation’s four previous BCS National Championships. However, the luster has not at all faded for the thousands upon thousands of those who count themselves among the members of Tide Nation.

In fact, Bamamaniacs, if these pics and video are any indication, are more pumped and proud of their football team than ever.

And why not?

AJ McCarron became the first and only quarterback to win two BCS National titles while under center and his coach, Nick Saban, officially earned his statue on the campus of Tuscaloosa alongside the legendary Bear (No, Bear needs no other names. If you have to ask who he is, then you’ll never know).

Saban has made superstars of four consecutive running backs in Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson, Eddie Lacy and now TJ Yeldon. His offensive line was one of the best of all time. If you want to play in the NFL as a defensive star, you had better lace ‘em for Saban’s ultra-stout defense first.

The Alabama Crimson Tide has earned the title of a ‘Dynasty’. Thus, when fans were given the opportunity to head to their local Wal-Mart to take photos with the exact same Coaches’ Trophy that their gridiron heroes were able to pose with on the field in Miami, hundreds jumped at the opportunity to do so.

That is a heck of a lot better reason to hop into a Wal-Mart than for some silly little rollback prices, if we say so ourselves.

Fans were literally lined up around the block for the chance to have their picture taken with the crystal ball.

According to CBS-42 in Birmingham, the trophy itself is valued at $30,000 and takes a full three months to produce.

That sounds like a long time, but it takes far longer to produce the champions who have earned the right to hold it in the first place. Again, even after the third one, Bama fans understand and appreciate that effort from their Tide.
