Offseason extracurricular activities are in full stride and the arrest report for college football players is beginning to pile. Last week, Florida Gators’ Loucheiz Purifoy was arrested for “smoking the reefer,” followed by USC tight end Junior Pomee stealing a laptop and passing out drunk.
Then, this week brought about a whole new level of arrests when four Alabama players were detained on Monday.
Now you can add the Arkansas Razorbacks to that offseason report list. Junior defensive end Austin Flynn was pulled over and arrested for driving while intoxicated, no proof of insurance, and careless driving.
New head coach Bret Bielema must already have a headache from National Signing Day with the escapades of his top recruits’ mother. Now he has to deal with a player arrest.
Welcome to the SEC coach.
