Baltimore Ravens Brendon Ayanbadejo apologizes for incessant trash talk at Patriots

I made selfish comments on twitter last night that reflected poorly upon myself, my teammates, and the organization. For that I apologize.

As Baltimore Ravens star special teamer and reserve linebacker was watching the New England Patriots whip up on the Houston Texans, the pro was watching the game from a very different perspective than the average fan.
Someone might sport his favorite player’s jersey and crack open a cold one, simply watching the games and understanding the basics, or even more than simply the standard Xs and Os. However, guys with the resume of Ayanbadejo (who earned a trip to the Pro Bowl while with the Chicago Bears) watch any games with a more discerning eye.
Or at least we would like to believe.
However, Ayanbadejo chose to trash talk the Patriots’ offense like crazy on Sunday night, less than 24 hours after his Baltimore team needed not one, but two overtimes to beat the Denver Broncos.
[Check out everything Ayanbadejo had to say here; it's a lot of ranting, that's for sure]
Needless to say, he was not watching the game to glean very much more from either team — he just wanted to open his mouth.
And now it looks like the Ravens’ PR department has told him to shut it.
At least until the Ravens and Pats square off this weekend in New England. At that point, Ayanbadejo can do all the talking he wants with those intense veins of his. Creepy.
The Patriots’ Brandon Spikes seems to be a lot more relaxed with his turnover dance.
What do you think Gamedayrs?
