Former Chicago White Sox star Frank Thomas, aka the Big Hurt, will introduce his very first line of beer on Monday, Feb. 25 at Foley’s NY Pub & Restaurant.
This isn’t just a normal old beer either. The Big Hurt’s brew packs a big punch, containing 7% alcohol volume.
Foley’s, a famous baseball drinking pub in New York City, will usher in the 2013 Spring Training season and Craft Beer Week with an appearance from Thomas to unveil his Big Hurt Beer.
Following is a look at the beer, which takes a Bud Select approach on branding.
