Bill Self summons his inner ‘Blizzard Rescue Man’ to help move a stuck car
Bill Self is the beloved head coach of the Kansas Jayhawks and a man of the people. Self is also extremely un-self-ish (see how we did that there) when it comes to his ability to help others.
According to Brad Harrell of Lawrence, KS, Self magically appeared on the scene of his stuck car on Thursday night just like those insurance agents in State Farm commercials. We like to think Self proclaimed, “have no fear, Self is hear” when he approached the car.
Following Self’s heroism he was tabbed as the “Blizzard Rescue Man” and Harrell had an explanation for why he is deserving of every penny Kansas pays him:
Do you want to know why Bill Self is worth the 52 million for 10 years? He drives by me trying to push a car out of a lot and parks to help… Walks up and says “looks like you boys need a man with some muscle” and we made it happen. What a bad ass.
That, Gamedayr Nation, screams of bad assery.
So does his MC Hammer dance move below, but that’s neither here nor there.
