Cam Newton serenaded and asked to formal by Auburn student on Valentine’s Day
Cam Newton is currently using this offseason to finish up his degree at Auburn, basically meaning he is a regular old student. Well, except for the body guards waiting for him outside of the classroom and the millions of dollars in his account.

With Newton in town, one young lady took the opportunity Valentine’s Day presented to serenade the War Eagle icon. Auburn student Rachel Gilmore decided today was the day to go for the gusto, delivering Newton a $10 Singing Valentine’s from the Wesley Foundation and asking the star NFL player to be her date for the Carnation Formal.
According to The War Eagle Reader, Newton enjoyed every second of the serenade. Auburn freshman Avery Ginn, who played a shorter version of My Girl (using the words My Guy instead), said that Newton “was a little stunned but he got really into it.”
Newton is quite the lady killer.
