There generally aren’t too many things that can go right when wild animals are taken out of their cages. Then, when the expert is made to small-step it around on ice, the chances for some mix-up or mistake — or hilarity — is all the greater.

The ECHL’s Bakersfield Condors figured they would give it a go, however, having their mascot cause some trouble prior to their game against the Las Vegas Wranglers on Friday night.

Basically, the Condor Wrangler (which is a made up title for those wondering) had some trouble right from the get-go, but it wasn’t until the dude fully bit it, falling hard on his rump (which is an excellent word that is not utilized nearly enough for those wondering) that the bird had a ball.

It’s the commentary that makes this one, as the fellas have a really hard time getting anything in between their laughs.

Where was the bird off to, you ask?

It’s a giant freaking condor, it goes wherever it wants.
