It has been a crazy couple of weeks of recruiting for the Florida Gators. First, two de-commitments from two of the biggest recruits for the class of 2013, followed by their recommitment to the Gators.

On Tuesday, more good news came for Will Muschamp and co. as four-star defensive back Duke Dawson has committed to Florida for the class of 2014.

The 5-foot-11, 188 pound ball-hawk is the fourth Gators commitment for 2014. All four are currenty listed on ESPN’s watch list for the top 300 players.

Dawson had the following to say to ESPN regarding his decision:

“For one, I have felt the love there since day one and things haven’t changed since,” Dawson said. “I love talking to Coach T-Rob (Travaris Robinson), Coach [Will] Muschamp, Coach [Bryant] Young, Coach [Jeff] Dillman and the rest of them.”

This announcement comes just a few weeks following Will Grier’s announcement to join the Gators. Grier is a record-setting prep QB for the class of 2014.

Welcome to the Gator Nation Duke!
