Orlando billboard counts down Dwight Howard’s departure, again [Photo]
Dwight Howard held the Orlando Magic captive for two years with a will-he-or-won’t-he leave routine that grounded the franchise to a virtual standstill.
By all accounts save for his own, the former Magic center ran coach Stan van Gundy out of town and then wound up being traded to Los Angeles anyways. There, he proceeded to rip on his former teammates, calling them “a bunch of players nobody wanted”.
Well, now the city really doesn’t want him in town. The Lakers are headed to central Florida for the first time since acquiring the embattled big man, and if this billboard is any indication, Orlando just hopes the door doesn’t hit Howard on his you-know-what on his way back out of town.
Dwight Howard makes his return to Orlando tonight & they’re already counting down until he leaves again (via @reddit) twitter.com/BleacherReport…
