Home of New England Patriots CB Derrick Martin robbed during 2013 AFC Championship game

According to the Denver Post, two masked men ransacked the Aurora home of New England Patriots cornerback Derrick Martin while he and his teammates were losing the AFC Championship game in Foxboro.
At approximately 8:05 pm, two robbers forced their way into into Martin’s home while at least one adult and one child were in the home. Martin obviously was not there, but numerous items of value were stolen from his home.
“We don’t know if he was specifically targeted or not,” Aurora police spokesman Frank Fania said. “There was nothing said during the robbery that would indicate that.”
Home invasions in the neighborhood are rare, according to Fania. Luckily, no one was hurt in the invasion.
“No shots were fired; no threats were made,” Fania said. “Thankfully, no one was hurt.”
Unfortunately, the victims were not able to provide a description of the two men.
Martin, recently having wrapped up his sixth season, was a member of the New York Giants team that won the Super Bowl a season ago. He played his collegiate football at the University of Wyoming.
