Finalists for the 2013 Wooden Award announced

The list of contenders for the Wooden Award has been whittled down to 15 finalists.
John Wooden led his UCLA Bruins to 10 NCAA titles in a 12-year span. The influence he had on the game of college basketball as we know it today cannot be understated. Thus, the NCAA has named the most prestigious award it has after the legendary coach.
With March Madness nearly upon us, a number of elite young hardwood wonders have separated themselves from the pack in the race for the John R. Wooden Award.
The Wooden Player of the Year will be announced during the Final Four in Atlanta.
