Florida gymnastics defeats Mizzou, Caquatto earns perfect score on bars
The Lady Gators beat Missouri Friday night at the O’Dome with scores of 197.300 and 194.625 in front of a crowd of 5,753 fans. Florida swept the Tigers, outscoring them in all four events.
Florida gymnast Mackenzie Caquatto impressed the judges and obtained a perfect score on uneven bars. She is the fifth Gator in team history to earn a 10.0 for this event.
Ashanee Dickerson was high scoring on vault and floor with an impressive 9.975 and 9.900, respectively. Teammate Bridget Sloan led the meet on beam with a score of 9.900.
This meet will air delayed on SUN Sports on Jan. 27 at 9:30 a.m.
This Friday, Jan. 25, at 7 p.m., the girls will take on the Auburn Tigers in the annual Gators Link to Pink meet to raise breast cancer awareness. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a Gators Link to Pink t-shirt. The Gators Link to Pink meet will air delayed on ESPNU at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 31.
