Yes, this title absolutely says it all, and no, we simply cannot make this stuff up. Scott Timmins has spent some time with the Florida Panthers here and there, but he is currently playing for the San Antonio Rampage of the AHL.

Granted, we’ve used the term ‘playing’ here very loosely, because after the player’s recently alleged antics, it may take quite a bit of effort to get Mr. Timmins back on the ice.

According to a report from KENS 5 (h/t CBS Sports), Timmins was arrested Monday morning for passing out in a stranger’s house on their couch after a long night of drinking.

When Timmins awoke, he was in the house of a San Antonio man named Benjamin Garza, and it contained just his wife and three kids.

Garza detailed for police the antics when Timmins was finally woken up:

The police report states that when Garza’s wife found Timmins sitting on her couch, she asked him who he was, to which he responded, “Don’t worry about that.”

“He was yelling, ‘What are you doing in my house,’” said Garza. “My wife said, ‘You need to get the hell out of here,’” added Garza. She was able to escape through a back door with her kids.

Garza, who was rightfully upset at the situation, told reporter Karen Grace that upon facing Timmins, he told the Panthers prospect, “You’re lucky I wasn’t here because I would’ve put a bullet between your eyes and it would’ve been over for you.”

The Panthers and Rampage have yet to comment on the situation. Following is a video from the news report.
