Gators move to No. 7/8 in Week 12 college basketball polls

Week 12′s top 25 college basketball polls were released on Monday. The Gators jumped two spots in each poll, checking in at No. 7 in the AP and No. 8 in the USA Today/Coaches.

The Gators are fresh off of one of the most dominating performances in the country this year, an 83-52 beat down of previous No. 17 Missouri. The clinic put on by Patric Young and crew even caught Dickie V’s attention, who tweeted that the Gators could win it all this year.

Two days prior to the contest against the Tigers, Florida traveled to College Station and welcomed the Aggies to the SEC with a 68-47 thrashing.

Florida, who is now 14-2 on the year (4-0 SEC), will travel to Georgia (Jan. 23) and Mississippi State (Jan. 26) this week.
