gonzaga number one 2013 giant cake

For the very first time in school history, the Gonzaga Bulldogs find themselves ranked No. 1 in the AP basketball standings.

We’re going to go ahead and assume that one or a thousand members of the student body took a few celebratory shots after hearing the news, but of course the school can’t give that away to thirsty students, now can they?

So instead of drinks, the Gonzaga cafeteria staff went with a giant No. 1-shaped cake, the pieces of which were handed out for free all day long on Monday. Reddit user hockeyrocks5757 uploaded a photo before this cake got crushed.

Looks like sweet, sweet victory, if we say so ourselves.
