For the very first time in school history, the Gonzaga Bulldogs basketball program finds itself ranked at No. 1 in the entire nation.
Needless to say, that is a pretty good place to be.
First, the school’s cafeteria staff celebrated by baking a giant cake shaped like a ’1′ and gave it away to the student body for free.
But that was during the day. At night, students took the celebration into their own hands, flipping lights on and off until they got a #1 lit up on the side of De Smet Hall on campus.
Gotta love it.
