Before there was Tim Tebow, Cam Newton, and Johnny Football, there was Bo Jackson, arguably the greatest athlete to ever step on a field of any sorts.
Jackson played his college ball at Auburn University, before being selected No. 1 overall in the 1986 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He wouldn’t suit up for the Bucs, instead selecting to sign with the Kansas City Royals on the baseball diamond.
Jackson re-entered the 1987 NFL Draft, and was selected 183rd overall by Al Davis and the Los Angeles Raiders. He suited up for the Raiders for four years, before his career was cut short due to injury.
Happy Birthday to the man that could do it all!
