Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel highlights the 2012-13 All-Bowl Team

CBSSports.com has officially crunched all the numbers from all the star players to take the field in all of the many — many — postseason bowl games to round out 2012 and ring in 2013.

While some teams and players disappointed, several others put on displays that captivated and amazed us all as college football fans.

Without further ado, the 2012-13 All-Bowl Team:

Offense:

Quarterback: Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M Aggies — 287 passing yards, 229 rushing yards, four total touchdowns

Running Back: Kerwynn Williams, Utah State Aggies — 18 carries, 235 yards and three touchdowns

Running Back: Eddie Lacy, Alabama Crimson Tide — 20 carries, 140 yards, one rushing and one receiving touchdown each

Wide Receiver: DeAndre Hopkins, Clemson Tigers — 13 receptions for 191 yards and two scores

Wide Receiver: Jordan Taylor, Rice Owls — Nine catches for 153 yards and two touchdowns

Wide Receiver: Ace Saunders, South Carolina Gamecocks — Nine catches for 92 yards, two touchdowns, and 63-yard punt return TD

Tight End: Travis Kelce, Cincinnati Bearcats — Five catches for 123 yards; 83-yard, game-winning TD reception

The entire Alabama offensive line: Cyrus Kouandjio (LT), Chance Warmack (LG), Barrett Jones (C), Anthony Steen (RG), D.J. Fluker (RT) — Absolutely dominated what had been the nation’s top defense in Notre Dame

Defense:

Defensive End: Alex Okafor, Texas Longhorns — 4. 5 sacks, six tackles for loss (TFL)

Defensive Line: Margus Hunt, SMU Mustangs — Two sacks, three TFL, two forced fumbles

Defensive End: Jadeveon Clowney, South Carolina Gamecocks — Two TFL, hit heard ’round the world

Defensive End: Tremayne Scott, Ohio Bobcats — Five tackles, two TFL, two sacks and an interception

Linebacker: Kyle Van Knoy, BYU Cougars — Eight tackles, 1.5 sacks, 3.5 TFL, fumble recovery, interception and two defensive touchdowns

Linebacker: Kevin Minter, LSU Tigers — 19 tackles, one sack and two TFL

Linebacker: CJ Mosley, Georgia Bulldogs — Eight tackles, one TFL, BCS title game Defensive MVP

Defensive Back: Erick Dargan, Oregon Ducks — Eight tackles, two interceptions

Defensive Back: Kenny Ladler, Vanderbilt Commodores — Ten tackles, a fumble recovery and an interception

Defensive Back: DJ Johnson, Texas Tech Red Raiders — 14 tackles and a fourth-quarter interception

Defensive Back: Matt Elam, Florida Gators — Eleven tackles and one sack

Special Teams:

Kicker: Brett Baer, Louisiana-Lafayette — Successful field goal attempts of 50, 25, and 39 yards

Punter: Riley Stephenson, BYU Cougars — Downed six punts inside opponents’ 20 and three inside the five-yard line

Returner/All-Purpose: De’Anthony Thomas, Oregon Ducks — 195 all-purpose yards: Sixty receiving yards and a score, 120 return yards and a score, and 15 rushing yards.
