High school kicker Jonathan Semerene kicks unreal 70-yard field goal [Video]
There’s ‘bombs’ and then there’s Jonathan Semerene of Cypress Bay High School in Weston, Florida.
With the help of his Cypress Bay coach, Brandon Kornblue, Semerene put together the type of highlight video that has literally never been done.
We weren’t lying when we were talking about droppin’ bombs. Semerene opens the video with a booming, 70-yard field goal that seems to sail through the uprights with ease. He also hits from 68 and 65 yards in the video — and remember, the all-time NFL record for the longest successful field goal is 63 yards.
Could he have taken a number of attempts, missing them and cutting them out of the video? Of course, but the truth of the matter is that 99.99-percent of people to ever kick a football could kick from that far a zillion times and never make it once.
