Just one day into 2013 and we may already have the hit of the year. South Carolina’s all-world defensive end Jadeveon Clowney takes matters into his own hands, practically murdering Michigan RB Vincent Smith on this hit.

He stated he wanted the Heisman this year, and if this play is any indication, Clowney has the talent to become the first true defensive player to win the award.
