John Calipari calls out players following Tennessee loss, but will they listen?

*UPDATE* Calipari back tracks on statements
The Kentucky Wildcats embarrassed themselves in the team’s first game without star center Nerlens Noel, who tore his ACL against Florida on Tuesday. Unfortunately, there is no other way to term a 88-58 loss to rival Tennessee.
In fact, if we sound harsh, ‘Cats coach John Calipari was his team’s own harshest critic following the blowout.
Kentucky forward Kyle Wiltjer finished with 18 points, but he only managed a subpar 5-of-15 outing from the field. The team finished 35.8-percent shooting from the field, compared to 58-percent on the dot for a Vols team that already has 10 losses on the season.
The defending national champion coach was embarrassed, calling out his players for being “not real coachable”.
Calipari: ““We’ve got a couple guys that are basically not real coachable.”

Whether or not his young team can pick itself up off the ground, dust itself off, and make a run to close out the season remains to be seen.
After Saturday’s performance, however, Calipari would be the first to admit that the chances are not looking very good.
Do you think this is a result of recruiting “one and done” players? Sound off below!
