Photo: Johnny ‘Football’ Manziel sets SEC for most total yards, as a freshman

If this doesn’t turn Heisman voter’s heads, they may need to call their family doctor and get their necks checked. Johnny ‘Football’ Manziel, on a tweaked knee and all, set the SEC record for most total yards in a season against Mizzou on Saturday.

The two guys he passed up you ask? None other than legends Tim Tebow and Cam Newton.

He’s had the Heisman moment, beating No. 1-ranked Alabama in Tuscaloosa, and he is a walking Heisman highlight-reel every time he touches the ball.

Do you think this is the season that we have our first freshman Heisman Trophy winner in history? Let us know in the comments below!

Will Manziel win the Trophy?

I hope he doesn’t get looked down on because he is only a Freshman. No Freshman has ever won the Heisman, but no one in the past has set the records or has the ability that Manziel has.
