Kevin Durant serves up Horns’ Twitter beef to Oklahoma player James Fraschilla

College rivalries, it’s what we live for here at Gamedayr, and luckily for us sophomore Oklahoma guard James Fraschilla and former Texas star Kevin Durant couldn’t resist the Red River Rivalry.
Durant was extremely pumped for Wednesday night’s 92-86 overtime win, because quite frankly, how couldn’t you be if you were a Horns fan. Texas stormed back from a 22-point second-half deficit against Oklahoma, capped off by Myck Kabongo’s circus buzzer-beating shot to force overtime.
Yea my longhorns came back from being down 22, all that showboating and coming back home to Oklahoma with a L..#hookem

Frashcilla, still a little heart-broken from the game, tweeted back at KD.
@kdtrey5 your boys are 13-15. I’d rather take a bad loss than not be in the NCAA tournament.

But you didn’t think the star was going to remain quiet, did you? College rivalries don’t lend themselves to those kind of actions, and Durant took one more shot at Fraschilla.
@jamesfraschilla yea yea, as long as we beat Oklahoma ill take it, plus our pg was out all year! Enjoy your first round exit

In all fairness, however, Fraschilla is a KD and OKC fan as evidence by his tweets that followed.
@kdtrey5 haha we’ll have to see about that in a couple weeks my man. still can’t disrespect an OKC legend tho. thunder up

fans take things way too seriously man.. I have a @kdtrey5 poster in my freaking room for goodness sakes. tough loss, we’ll bounce back

Thank you Red River Rivalry for being you.
