On Sunday night, Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Knight was victimized by LA Clippers center DeAndre Jordan. Simply put, Jordan killed Knight and any confidence he may have ever had with a once in a lifetime dunk.
Twitter blew up with #RIPBrandonKnight, the internet was overrun by memes, Wikipedia pronounced Knight dead, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Well, less than 24 hours later, a meme/hashtag has emerged from the aftermath: #Knighting. It’s slowly starting to pick up steam as the first few images hit the Twitter-verse.
Only time will tell if it has enough power to hit the mainstream like Tebowing, Planking, or Linning.
