For the last 10 years, the one and only LeBron James has politely declined calls to do the dunk contest, although he has never given anyone a real reason why.

In fact, all of his in-game and even pre-game dunks have only made fans more anxious to see the superstar in the All-Star weekend showcase.

It just so happens that some of those fans happen to be wealthier than others. At first, Magic Johnson laid down the gauntlet, offering LeBron (or anyone who beats Bron Bron for that matter) a whopping $1 million to do the contest — and LeBron was reportedly mulling the offer over.

Well, if he hasn’t decided to take the million for one night’s work and enjoy it, the pot is apparently about to get sweeter. Kevin Durant (who we honestly think would dominate the dunk contest himself), Pardon the Interruption‘s Mike Wilbon and Skip Bayless, aka the most annoying man in sports television (personal opinion on that one), have apparently joined Magic’s efforts in getting Big Bron to dunk away.

The next step, of course, is to find out how much money is actually on the table here. No matter how much money James makes, turning down millions just to dunk is no easy task.
