Texas A&M players ready to “strap it up” for LSU, Miles gives Aggies bulletin board material

Texas A&M offensive lineman Cedric Ogbuehi (#70) hasn’t forgotten the words uttered by Les Miles when asked about the Aggies joining the SEC. Miles was quoted stating the following:

“They better strap it up. They’re not going to enjoy their welcoming in this conference.”

Ogbuehi (@Nuff_ced70) tweeted “It’s Time!” with the above picture on Monday.

Many thought the Aggies would limp into the conference, while Mizzou would have decent success in year one. Halfway through the season, it’s safe to say that A&M is ready for SEC play and Mizzou, well, they are sliding extremely fast backwards down a hill.

The Aggies are bringing a top 20 ranking (No. 18 BCS/No. 20 AP) into this Saturday’s showdown with the Tigers, but even more importantly, a team oozing with confidence. A&M’s only loss on the season was to the same team that handed LSU their only loss, No. 2 Florida.

Johnny Manziel, aka Johnny Football, has proven that he is a gamer worthy of Doug Flutie-esque talks. LSU better make sure they “strap it up,” because the 12th Man will be giving them all they can handle on Saturday.

Gig ‘em!
