Lou Piniella swears he didn’t want to use the word “raped.” (Jerry Lai-USA TODAY Sports)
During the Yankees vs Red Sox spring exhibition game on Wednesday, none other than Lou Piniella was in the booth providing the fans with some high-level analysis.
Piniella was discussing the Miami Marlins’ failed All-Star haul, which the Blue Jays happily took off of the much-maligned franchise’s hands.
Piniella, looking everywhere for an adjective, dug deep and found the word ‘raped’. He didn’t want to say the Blue Jays ‘raped’ the Marlins, but he did.
Could you imagine Piniella and Bill Walton in the same booth at one time? Now that would blow some minds.
This ’30 for 30′ trailer features the one and only Gordon Bombay, who turned a rag-tag bunch of hockey-loving misfits into the Mighty Ducks, and he did it Disney-style.
Paul George provided the highlight of Game 2 between the Pacers and Heat, throwing down this posterizing dunk on Birdman. Even LeBron James was impressed.
After being accused of fouling hard on purpose, Miami Heat forward Shane Battier explained that he is only doing his job, and that is to win basketball games.
