Temperatures in The Swamp never reached 90 degrees during Saturday’s game, yet some LSU players are using the heat as an excuse for their poor performance.
“It is Florida,” linebacker Kevin Minter said, according to the report. “The humidity is ridiculous.”
“We worked super hard during the week to come out and play two dominant halves,” defensive end Sam Montgomery said. “Sadly, our stamina couldn’t hold up.”
The truth is, the Tigers lost because their defense was getting owned by the Florida’s offensive line. Mike Gillislee was slicing through their defense like a hot knife through butter.
This has to be one of the poorest excuses I’ve ever heard for a loss, especially since their team plays and practices in conditions similar too, or even worse than, Florida.
What do you think Gator fans, is this the lamest excuse you’ve ever heard of for a loss?
