Mike Francesca caller asks: “Is Manti Te’o The Greatest Homosexual Linebacker Of All Time?”

Yes, the story has officially gone there. The latest rumor to surface on the web is that Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o used this fake relationship over Twitter to hide the fact that he is homosexual.

Outlets such as the Huffington Post, Outkick the Coverage, and The LaVar Arrington Show have talked about the new theory that Te’o could in fact be gay. Outkick the Coverage even went as far as to say, “This is actually the only story that makes any sense at all. And even if it’s true, Te’o will probably deny it because, unfortunately, football players aren’t exactly the most welcoming of homosexuality.”

One caller even asked Mike Francesca on air if “Manti Te’o is the greatest homosexual linebacker of all time?’”.

Wow, what a whirlwind couple of days in the sports’ world. Hopefully for Te’o's sake he is an innocent victim and this will all move past him.
