Marcus McWilson de-commits from Nebraska, leaning towards Kentucky
Four-star safety Marcus McWilson informed the nation on Sunday via Twitter that he was no longer committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
For head coach Bo Pelini, this is the second four-star recruit to de-commit from Nebraska in the last week. Pelini has caught some heat since four-star wide receiver Dominic Walker informed the coaching staff he would be heading to Auburn and not Lincoln.
According to CatsIllustrated.com, McWilson’s recruitment is open, however he is currently leaning towards Kentucky: ”I’m kind of open right now but I am leaning towards Kentucky.”
With the announcement that Kentucky is now in the lead for his services, it’s likely that one of the factors weighing in on the decision is his desire to stay closer to his family in Youngstown, OH.
