Maryland’s student section wins the weekend with flash mob and Harlem Shake [Video]
The Maryland Terrapins officially put themselves back on the map with their huge upset over No. 2 Duke on Saturday. Not only did the basketball world recognize their resume-boosting 83-81 win, but fans everywhere now have to respect Maryland’s well-coordinated and highly dedicated student section.
Comcast Center, which was decked out in alternate sections of Maryland’s state colors, was overtaken by a well-orchestrated flash mob that would even impress the Crazies down in Cameron Indoor.
The Terps didn’t stop at the flash mob, though; no, they also broke out the Harlem Shake to top off the performance.
The video does all of the talking.
Following the huge win the Terps burnt the town down in celebration and we don’t blame them at all. College Park was overdue for a night like this.
