Michael Jordan is ready to hitch the knot, applies for marriage license in Florida

It appears that ‘his airiness’ is ready to walk the aisle again. On Thursday, CBS Sports reported (via Kathy Burstein — a spokeswoman for the clerk’s office) that Michael Jordan had “appeared at the main Palm Beach County courthouse Thursday morning to apply for a marriage license.”

In December 2011, Jordan got engaged to Yvette Prieto, his longtime girlfriend. We recently posted that the two had set their wedding date for April 27.

While CBS wasn’t able to confirm the identity of the bride-to-be, it’s safe to assume that it will be Prieto walking down the aisle.

The marriage will be the second for Jordan, who was married to Juanita Vanoy for 17 years.
