Michigan ball floats on rim as time runs out against Indiana

Talk about a picture that’s worth 1,000 words. This is how painfully close Michigan was to pulling off the upset over Indiana on Sunday. The missed shot gave the Hoosiers a 72-71 win over the Wolverines.

Crazy thing about this shot? Both Michigan and Ohio State fans were painfully holding their breath hoping for a Wolverines’ win, which would have given the Buckeyes a share of the Big Ten title.

The Michigan player’s face just below the hoop sums up one of the longest seconds in Michigan and Indiana basketball history.
