NBA little man Nate Robinson gives shout out to ‘favorite player’ Steve Novak [Video]

The Chicago Bulls and the New York Knicks just plain do not like each other. Never have. The fans don’t like each other, as rude New Yorkers try to turn their noses up at the Midwestern Second City.

Either that, or they’re just jealous that Michael Jordan won so many rings and kept Patrick Ewing and the utterly unbearable John Starks from winning any championships themselves.

The rivalry has taken on a new look and a new twist in 2013, with Bulls backup point guard Nate Robinson and Knicks three-point specialist Steve Novak getting into it recently regarding their respective scoring celebrations — and height. Robinson is only 5-foot-9, but he can fly, whereas Novak is far taller and said that he can’t wait to see Nate-Rob when “he’s all grown up”.

Ouch, no wonder Robinson jokingly — or sarcastically — called Novak his favorite player following this interview with NBA TV.
