New Florida Gators football helmet design surfaces, could this be worn in 2013?

*UPDATE* @KWGator, the man behind these slick creations, has confirmed that they will not be worn next season.

The 2013 Uniform Race is full speed ahead. Texas Tech, Western Michigan, Nevada, Fresno State, Houston, Baylor, and Washington have all made the first moves by unveiling fresh new gear.

This photo of what appears to be a new Florida Gators’ helmet design surfaced on Gatorbait.net’s message board, with the question “New helmets?”

We haven’t been able to confirm or deny yet if these are in fact new lids the Gators could sport in the future.

Until then, we will let you debate on the design. Would you like to see the Gators wear these? Sound off below!

I would like to see the same helmet with script with the gator head logo underneath it kinda like LSU tiger head under the letters. I think it would look cool.

Not a gator fan but love their unis. I hope this helmet change does not occur. If it does, it’d be a disgrace. They’re a top tier program. No need to go looking like a high school team.
