New Mexico Lobos ‘Heroes Day’ football helmets

The collegiate sports’ landscape is honoring America’s men and women of service this weekend, sporting special edition uniforms, helmets, and shoes.

New Mexico has unveiled a ‘Heroes Day’ helmet for this Saturday’s game against Wyoming. The helmet utilizes an American flag design laid into the logos and across the top of the helmet, similar to that of Rutgers ‘Military Appreciation’ helmet (if you haven’t seen it yet, you are missing out).
